Hello and welcome to the Dark Knight's Mighty Empire's Website. This website is to introduce you to the players and the armies of the current Mighty Empires Campaign.

What is Mighty Empires?

In 1990, Games Workshop released a Campaign Board Game to be used with their miniature based wargame called Warhammer. The object was to begin from your capital city and explore the terrain, establishing an empire in the process. Along the way your armies would find villages, fortresses and cities. These would either welcome you with open arms or resist your empire expansion.

Other players would also be exploring. Borders will be made and weak promises of peace would be given to each other. Then after a few years, exploration turns to war, as players vie for land held by other empires. Taxs are collected from your people and this fuels your economy. Spies and assasins work in secrecy. Battles are won and lost and great mages cast equinox magic across the land.

Sound exciting? Well it sure is. Combined with Warhammer, this really tests your skills of negotiation, battle and tactics.

Unfortunately, Games Workshop have stopped producing this excellent game. Maybe they may re-release it in the future.

What is Warhammer?

Warhammer is the Game of Fantasy Battles, produced by a UK company called Games Workshop. It's similar to a giant game of chess but it is not restricted to black and white squares. You collect an army that is filled with units of troops ranging from knights to archers, then with heroes to lead them they march to war against the army of your friends.

The models that you collect are unpainted and so you can paint them in your own style and taste. This makes your army different to your friends and after time you do get attached to your favourite models. Especially if they die in a game. But never fear our heroes always seem to return to seek revenge!
